Texas- the “we ain’t telling the slaves they’re free until we have to” State (Juneteenth) (Taken with instagram)
In my opinion, Obama has little or no business being considered in this manner at all. The assasination of our currency and by decfault, our way of life is a soap opera with many villains and very few heroes. The depiction on the bill could have very well been Nixon for abandoning the “Gold Standard”, leaving our currency with no intrensic value. Or it could’ve shown a characature of Woodrow Wilson signing The Federal Reserve Act in 1913, which took control of our currency out of the hands of private citizens and private banks and placed it into the hands of rich investors and business tycoons and foreign interests. Fault can be spread to Reagan for the short sighted goals of “Reaganomics” or Clinton for flooding the housing market by giving insentives and tax breaks to developers leading to the Housing Boom of the late 90’s. Blame can be attributed to Bush Jr. for lowering the required credit score for a home loan allowing people with little or no money and a weak credit history to purchase in a market that they were not suited for. It could have depicted the Garn–St. Germain Depository Institutions Act of 1982 which allowed banks to advertise Adjustable-rate Mortgages with low “Teaser-Rates” that where subject to extremely steep rate hikes. It was Bush Jr. however that opened the door for the Adjustable-rate Mortgage system to be deregulated leaving the banks and loan firms to adjust rates outside of their index which lead to Predatory Loans being granted to people with no means for repayment. Rate hikes, economic scares, and massive job cuts then lead to the crash and subsequent forclosure of millions of homes, leaving in their wake trillions in un-paid housing debts. Notice that when bailouts where given to Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, it did not relinquish debts accrued by individuals. In essence, the loan company got their money, but they still expect you to pay the money anyway. Maybe it is the line of the deconstruction of our currency system leading up to the inevitable Death of the American Dollar.
